This is made exclusively for Bilboquet and during their recent sale a few of us took the plunge, the standard NFX (Sport) being a firm freestyle favorite. The kite differs from the NFX Sport model in many ways. Most obviously the sail has a different layout and includes the use of mylar. The framing is also very different with Icone yellow and red leading edges and Aerostuff Gold S lower spreaders. What we didn’t realize however was that the kites dimensions differ also, the Manga having different aspect ratio, being both wider and taller. Included with the kite is a weight kit, which consists of a number of differ length steel rods which maybe installed inside the spine, anchor by a brass nut at the tail of the spine.

My NFX was bought used and had been mod’d by the previous owner. It has a reverse turbo, RT, bridle which I’m told improves the kites lower wind range whilst also reducing its pull at the upper end. I’m very impressed with this kite, its wind range is very good, tricks are easy and flowing and its become the #1 freestyler in my bag. So the Manga has a lot to live up to.
